Lloyd Doggett is a supporter of welcoming refugees and immigrants and building a robust refugee resettlement program. Doggett has always sought to be a voice for those without a lobbyist or political action committee, focusing his efforts on matters that make a real difference in the lives of his neighbors. By listening, he seeks to make the most important priorities of your family his own priorities. Born and raised in Austin, Doggett served in the Texas Senate and the Texas Supreme Court, protecting public education and writing opinions supporting trials by jury. Now, he is the Chair of the Subcommittee on Health, working to lower the costs of prescription drugs and make healthcare more accessible and affordable.
